Meeting with General Alain Lardet

General Alain Lardet, commander of the Foreign Legion, visited Hom Nguyen in his studio. The artist maintains a very strong link with the Foreign Legion. The General proposed to Hom Nguyen to create a work for the Foreign Legion Museum, entitled « Monsieur Légionnaire » . During this visit Hom said : “I am very touched to be asked for this project. It is an honor for me to be able to produce a portrait that pays homage to the ideal embodied by this exceptional soldier, with whom I share values such as altruism, surpassing oneself and fraternity ".
